Very recently, Asus is heating up the market with their latest innovations – the Zenphone lineup. For the medium budget people out there, Zenphone 5 fits in the category. Unlike most other competitors, the Zenphone 5 runs on an Intel Atom process with Hyper-Threading technology enabled. The performance is quite netbook like, the very initial generation we have seen in the market. 2 GB RAM and 16 ROM on board are all worth it, and the 8 MP rear cameramakes it a worthy smartphone for people who prefer power and performance in the same device. 5. Lenovo K3 Note
The phablet market is basically ruled by Samsung Galaxy Note devices, but for the people who can’t’ afford one – here’s a less expensive, yet very worthy solution. Though it misses out the pen, but the dual SIM card slot and decently configured 1.7 GHz Octa Core processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage totally makes up for it. The phone has two SIM card slots with support for LTE and WCDMA. For music lovers, the Dolby enhancement is surely going to be fun. Lenovo K3 Note costs Rs. 9999.
6. Nokia Lumia 620
Slightly lagged behind, yet Nokia phones never go out of order. As strong as they are, now even the operating system is slowly gaining the edge everyone had been waiting for. The Nokia Lumia 620 costs only Rs. 9999 in Indian marketplace and for such a low profile price point, it has so much to offer. The 1 GHz Dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset accompanied by 512 MB of RAM is still a decent configuration for a Windows Phone 8 powered smartphone. Though the phone was released back in 2012, it still packs a great deal for lower budget smartphones of today.
7. Alcatel Onetouch Flash 6042D
Rs. 8499 might look like a pretty low budget for a branded and better quality smartphone, but hey there’s the Alcatel Onetouch Flash 6042D. 8. Redmi Note 4G

9. Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Plus
Samsung smartphones are quite on the higher budget range comparing to their configuration. For Rs. 9399, the Galaxy Grand Neo Plus offers a good deal though. The phone has a big 5 inch display. Not mind blowing, but very decent. Dual SIM slot takes both GSM and UMTS. Galaxy Grand Neo Plus runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, no updates have been offered yet.
10. Sony Xperia M Dual
If you are a fan of the typical Sony smartphone design, then you would like the Xperia M Dual. As the name says, the phone is dual SIM supported. Unfortunately, the phone can only take two GSM SIM cards. The rear camera is 5 MP but the front camera is only VGA, marking it pretty unusable for selfies. Apart from this fact, the phone is fast and efficient for daily usage. Price – Rs. 11990.
