Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti is a television drama series telecasted on Zee TV. The first episode of this show was aired on 14 December 2020. Arvind Babbal has produced the show under the banner of Arvind Babbal Productions. The story is by Purnendu Shekhar. Creative directors are Neelakshi Naithani and Mona Raj Ahuja. The Plot
Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti is centred around the lives of a married couple, Shubra and Kuldeep and their two children, Roli and Rishi. After 10 years of marriage, a schism has appeared in the relationship of Shubra and Kuldeep. The two kids, Roli and Rishi, are aware of the strain in the relationship between their parents and decide to act to improve the relationship between Shubra and Kuldeep. They resort to many innocent tricks such as faking parent-teacher meetings in school, deliberately losing things and many more to bring their parents together. Kuldeep and Shubra, on the other hand, are both having extramarital affairs. Kuldeep is in a relationship with Samaira, while Shubra has a boyfriend named Dr Harsh. Both are still married for the sake of their children. The show explored the innocent world of children trying to repair the relationship between their beloved parents.
The show has run its full course, and it winded up in November after running for almost 11 months. The last episode of the series was telecasted on 5 November 2021.
Cast Names
Kuldeep Chaddha
Kuldeep Chaddha is the husband of Shubhra Chaddha and the father of Roli and Rishi. He is also the boyfriend of Samaira. Siddhaanth Vir Surryawanshi played the role of Kuldeep Chaddha. Siddhaanth debuted with the television series Kkusum. He also appeared in the popular television series Kasauti Zindagi Kay. He played the lead role of Rishi in the Star Plus’ series Grihasti. His kitty’s other television serials include Krishna Arjun, Bhagyavidhata, Kya Dil Mein Hai, Virrudh and Zameen Se Aasman Tak.
Shubra Chaddha
Shubra Chaddha is the wife of Kuldeep Chaddha and the mother of Roli and Rishi. She is also the love interest of Dr. Harsh. Neha Marda played the role of Shubra Chaddha. Neha Marda first came into the limelight when she won the Boogie Woogie contest in 2004. She made her television debut with the Sahara One series Saath Rahega Always in 2005. Thereafter, she played the role of Shruti in Ghar Ek Sapnaa. In 2007, she appeared in the Zee TV series Mamta in the role of Simran. However, her breakthrough came when she portrayed the role of Gehna in the popular television series Balika Vadhu which aired from 2008 to 2011 on Colors TV. She played a negative role in the Star Plus series Shraddha. In 2015, she played the lead role in the movie Doli Armaano Ki. She also participated in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Ja in 2015. She appeared in the Zee TV series Albela in 2018.
Samaira
Samaira is the love interest of Kuldeep. Sapna Thakur played the role of Samaira. Sapna is a fashion model turned actress. She has appeared in a number of serials such as Dilli Wali Thakur Girls, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey, Gathbandhan and Piya Rangrezz.
