While Apple was known for a standard design for all their Smartphones, the iPhone comes with a fresh look which is smart, trendy and sleek. The phone will be available in a variety of colors including gold, silver, and rose gold as well as two new shades of matte black and glossy black. The home button too has some modifications. The iPhone will come with a solid home screen button which is force sensitive. The phone also uses Taptic vibrations in place of the physical clicks which is similar to the MacBook. The iPhone is also dust and water resistant which is a first for the iPhone series.

Another major change in the iPhone 7 is the camera which now comes with an optical image stabilization feature. The rear camera is 12 MP while the front camera is 7 MP. The picture quality for the cameras has been improved drastically. Apart from clear, crisp images, Apple also confirms that the pictures will now click faster. The iPhone 7 will also come with a 2x optical zoom which will enable users to zoom in up to 10 times.

The iPhone 7 will come with 2 stereo speakers – one at the top and the other at the bottom. All other iPhone models had just one speaker. Apple spoke about taking off the headphone jack earlier and this is seen with the iPhone 7. The phone comes with Air Pods which provide wireless audio.
