Bigg Boss, a reality show aired on Colors TV, is one of the highest TRP grossers of television industry in India. Its tenth season recently got over with Manveer Gurjar coming out of the Bigg Boss house as winner. There is already much hype round its next season, the eleventh one, which is said to go live from October 2017. Season 10 was the first of its kind in which commoners were allowed to participate along with the celebrities. For Season 11, though there’s a 50-50 chance that commoners will be allowed to participate, let’s see the coin turns on which side. Nevertheless, here is the step by step procedure for applying in Bigg Boss.

Eligibility Requirements

A candidate interested in applying for Bigg Boss is required to pass below mentioned criteria in order to be eligible for applying.

1. Must be 18 years of age or above at the time of registration.
2. Must be a legal citizen of India.
3. Must have all legal documents substituting as proofs for name, age, address, nationality and citizenship. These documents include Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card and Birth Certificate. Plus if you have additional documents like passport and driving licence, it’s even better.

Step 1: Upload Your Short Video

Make a best of your videos while mentioning your basic details in it in a way that remains entertaining. The video should be of good (even better HD) quality with a duration of less than or equal to 3 minutes. Videos exceeding 3 minute duration are rejected right away. Also, the size of the video should be a maximum of 50MB.

Step 2: Go to the Online Application Form

The application form can be upload at https://www.voot.com/bigg-boss-registration. please open this it will redirect to you an online form submit the all details correct.

Before you can start filling the form, you can save your video and a good quality photograph in your device to ease the application process.

Step 3: Fill Up the Form

After going to the link mentioned in Step 2, you will be automatically redirected to the official website of Bigg Boss where you’ll be filling the application form. There are several options for filling the form. You can login via Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo or Google + profiles. However, if you don’t have any of these online profiles, click on Continue without Login and fill up the details.

The form will consist of basic details about you like Name, Age, Gender, Address, Email and Nationality. Fields marked in the form will be mandatory. However, they recommend that you should enter as many details as possible like your lifestyle, routine, personality, job, etc. This lets the person on the other side know you better as an individual.

After successful submission of the form, you will receive an acknowledgement SMS at the registered mobile number.

Casting Auditions

After your audition video is screened by concerned team of Viacom 18, if your video is shortlisted, you’ll receive a call for auditions. Following this, if you are shortlisted in this round, shortly your friends will see you on TV!
