Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Meiin is a television romance drama series which airs on Star Plus and Disney + Hot Star. The first episode of this series was aired on 5th October 2020. This show has been produced by Rajesh Ram Singh and Pradeep Kumar under the aegis of Corkscrew Productions and Shaika Films. The direction team comprises of Arnav Chakrabarti, Jaydeep Sen, Ashwini Saraswat and Ranjeet Gupta. Creative director is Siddhartha Vankar. The story has been written by Rajesh Chawla. The theme music has been composed by Dhruv Dhalla. Cinematography is by Shailesh Manore.
Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Meiin is an adaptation of the Bengali series Kusum Dola which airs on Star Jalsha. The leading characters are being portrayed by Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh and Aishwarya Sharma.
The Plot
The plot is basically a love triangle involving Virat, Pakhi and Sayi. Virat Chavan is an IPS officer hailing from Nagpur who gets posted to Gadchiroli. Meanwhile, Sayi is a highly vocal girl who lives in Gadchiroli. She wants to become a doctor by studying medical at Nagpur. Sayi takes an instant dislike for Virat. Virat goes to Nashik for a trip and ends up meeting Pakhi or Patralekha. Both start liking each other but do not confess their feelings. Even though Pakhi gives Virat her phone number, the number is lost and Virat fails to call Pakhi after returning to Gadchiroli. Pakhi is heartbroken, so she agrees to marry Samrat Salunkhe who is the cousin brother of Virat.
Virat does not know that his cousin brother’s bride is Pakhi and he is shocked to discover the same at the wedding. Even though they confess their love for each other, Virat forbids Pakhi from breaking off the marriage because he loves his cousin Samrat. Virat promises Pakhi that he will never love any other girl ever. In a dramatic twist, Sayi’s father is shot by her stalker Jagtab accidentally instead of Virat. In his dying moments, he extracts a promise from Virat that he shall take care of his daughter Sayi. Sayi blames Virat for her father’s death but under pressure from her family, she is forced to marry Virat. However, both come to an understanding that the marriage would last till Sayi becomes a doctor and is independent. Pakhi is heartbroken on hearing about the marriage of Virat and Sayi.
Virat and Sayi get into a misunderstanding leading to Sayi separating from Virat. She returns to nurse him when he is injured in a police operation. They are eventually united. Meanwhile, Samrat has left Pakhi and works in an orphanage in Mahabaleshwar. He is persuaded to return by Virat and Sayi. He returns but wants to divorce Pakhi. However, the family does not want them to divorce each other. As far as Virat is concerned, he is falling in love with Sayi.

Virat Chavan
Virat Chavan is an IPS officer who loves Pakhi but has been forced to marry Sayi. Neil Bhatt is portraying this role. He is an actor, dancer and choreographer. He appeared in the serial Roop- Mard Ka Naya Swaroop as Ranveer Singh Vaghela.
Sayi Joshi Chavan
Sayi is an MBBS student and the daughter of Kamal and Alka. She is IPS Virat Chavan’s wife. Ayesha Singh is playing this role. She is a model and actress who has acted in two television series, namely Doli Armaano Ki and Zindagj Abhi Baki Hai Mere Ghost.
Patralekha Salunkhe
Patralekha or Pakhi is the love interest of IPS Virat Chavan but she is married to Samrat Salunkhe. Aishwarya Sharma portrays the role of Patralekha. She is an actress who has appeared in shows such as Jaanbaaz Sindbad, Meri Durga, Suryaputra Karna and Krishna.
